TOP:
The top is close to 2” thick reclaimed barn wood. The wood is left in its natural color along with the saw marks, nail holes and other markings that tell a distinct story of its previous life and which add to its present beauty. Finally, it is topped with 3 coats of Enduro-Var water based urethane for a warm, long-lasting finish.
BASE:
The base is also made entirely of reclaimed wood. Some barn wood, some very usable pieces from discarded furniture, house demolitions, and off cuts from previous projects. These cast-offs are given new life and play an integral role in breathing new life into these unique console tables.
TURNED COLUMNS:
The large 5” x 5” balustrade columns add a sense of distinction and character to each piece of hand-made furniture we create.

PAINTED BASE AND COLUMNS:
The white painted areas are slightly distressed to give the piece its own personality. It is then protected with General Finishes clear topcoat.
This Balustrade / Turned Leg Console Table is "Pick Up Only" in the Kansas City area. If you live outside of this area, you are responsible for arranging your own shipping. We will hold the table for 2 weeks past completion of the project. If the buyer doesn't arrange Pick Up by that time, you will be charged a $20 a week storage fee. Purchases are non-refundable. Because each piece is custom built, it will take 4-6 weeks from the order to completion.
